November 2011

Two new PhD scientists (physical chemistry and theoretical physics) started working at B+Tech this fall.

B+Tech research personnel visited the Friedland clay quarry in September to determine the acquisition chain for backfill production.

B+Tech personnel participated in training courses on CodeBright modeling, clay mineralogy, and strain gauge installation and measurement during this summer and fall.

B+Tech received initial training focused on International Project Management Association (IPMA) certification.

B+Tech hosted a visiting researcher from Universidad de Castilla La Mancha (UCLM) in September.

B+Tech expanded into a third laboratory space which will be used for large scale THM-experiments.

June 2011

B+Tech was recently awarded AAA credit rating.

B+Tech joined the Go Global training program, which is organized by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) and FinPro, in order to develop its international growth plan.

B+Tech has entered the Great Place to Work® program.

Five new employees started working at B+Tech in the beginning of April bringing the total number of staff members to 16.

The management system of B+Tech concerning material research, consulting and expert services ranging from research to engineering and manufacturing is now certified according to ISO 9001:2008. The quality assurance system is based on the ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 standards, the FIDIC Code of Ethics, the OECD Principles on Good Laboratory Practice, and the OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

October 2010

B+Tech quality assurance system will be audited in November and December 2010. The system is based on the ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 standards, the FIDIC Code of Ethics, the OECD Principles on Good Laboratory Practice, and the OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Novel large-scale test has been developed and started on buffer performance. The test simulates buffer behaviour under realistic conditions so that the essential features occur at full scale.

B+Tech has doubled its laboratory space. New laboratory is used mainly for THM and large scale testing.

April 2010

B+Tech has started using M-Files electronic document management system.  M-Files is an innovative electronic document management system (EDMS) that solves the problems of managing, finding, and tracking documents in today's information-intensive organizations.

B+Tech has started using ValueFrame management system (ERP). ValueFrame’s hosted (Software as a Service) Professional Services Automation solution helps to manage business more effectively.

B+Tech has outsourced the IT-server services to a company which is one of the leading hosting providers in Northern Europe to ensure high level of data safety and availability.
